Aryna Sabalenka is one of the top favorites of the US Open

The Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka is one of the top favorites to win the title based on her current form and big-match performances. It will be interesting to see how the World No.2 player can handle the pressure of being one of the hot favorites of the tournament. Apart from Sabalenka, the Polish World No.1 Iga Swiatek and World No.4 Elena Rybakina are the biggest favorites here.

Sabalenka’s biggest test will be in the quarter-finals against an in-form Ons Jabeur. The Tunisian star was able to reach the finals of Wimbledon before failing to Marketa Vondrousova. So she will be trying to eventually win her first Grand Slam title.

Sabalenka is the current Australian Open champion. In all the other slams, she was not able to move past the semi-finals. This time the Belarusian will be looking to get past the hurdles and eventually win her first US Open title.
