Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is back to form for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It was the stealth and assassination that made the series popular in the first place. Since then, the franchise has taken more of an action RPG approach with its previous three entries. However, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage takes it back to the stealth route and gives you all the options to become a master assassin.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has a notoriety system that builds up as you are caught doing illegal stuff in the crowd. The more illegal activities and killing in the public you do, the more it increases. Having a higher notoriety will severely hinder you from hiding, as people know about you and report you to the authorities.

Reducing Norotiety in AC Mirage

There are two main ways you can reduce notoriety in Assassin’s Creed: The first is by tearing down posters, and the second is by bribing the town’s announcer, known as Munadi. Both options are always available for the players. But with higher notoriety, it will get significantly harder to reach a poster without getting the guards called on.

The poster will not show up on the map. However, they can be seen on your compass. So, follow the compass to find the posters. Usually, posters are hidden in allies and tunnels. So, look around even if you can’t find it at a glace.

As for the Munadi, they are good decreasing high notoriety. But bribing is expensive as it requires a special coin which can be rare to find. But if you have one you can bribe a Munadi to get rid of your notoriety completely regardless of the level.
