OTK content creator Tectone was gasping for air after he accidentally leaked out a massive sponsorship deal by Lost Ark. The ‘leaked information’ was not stated by him, but rather his screen as an interesting message popped up on his screen.
The content creator known for streaming Genshin Impact was checking out some videos on YouTube with his fellow streamer friends, Emiru and Mizkif. At a certain point of his live stream, when he was reacting to the video by Extra Emily, a hotmail popped up on his screen.
The message read as, “you have money on the way from OTK Media Inc. OTK Media Inc. sent you USD 35,000.00. Memo: Inv #LostArk Your money is on the…“. The rest of the message was hidden, but it was enough to make Tectone jump out of his chair.
He screamed shockingly, “what is that”, later asking to delete the VOD immediately. Tectone continued to avoid the awkward situation as he asserted to his audience that no one has saw anything. Although he was able to realize that it was too late to cover the matter as his chat had already read the mail.
Redditors call out Tectone for asking donation on Twitch
Tectone primarily plays Genshin Impact but he has tried out some other MMO games as well. Last year, he played Lost Ark significantly, even making a comparison of the game with HoYoverse’s RPG.
As the payout came for his Lost Ark streams, it is safe to assume that the content creator has received his payment for streaming Lost Ark after a whole year. The massive sponsorship deal paid Tectone based on his hours of streaming.
However, fans are bashing out the content creator for acting ‘broke’ and yet receiving such huge deals by his organization. The clip which shows his horrified expression is a week old, but it has gained traction recently on r/livestreamfails.
Most of the users opine that everyone should stop donating to these Twitch streamers as they have already bagged huge deals from their content organization or by the concerned officials of the video game they stream.
