BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — It's been 27 years since Krystyn Dunlap was reported missing.
She's been missing since Oct. 16, 1994. She was 17 years old at the time.
"She just was a genuine person, she was nice, very nice. smart, very smart, very funny, happy go lucky, great to be around," said Daniel Warren Bosse, Dunlap's half-brother. "Always up for an adventure. Be silly and goof off, a really down-to-earth type of person."
In the summer of 2021, Boise Police detectives met with Dunlap's family to see what else could be done with the case.
"Kim, her family, and BPD, have unfortunately come to the conclusion that Krysten is likely no longer a runaway or missing person, and that Krystyn is likely deceased," Boise Police said earlier this month.
Monday would have been her 45th birthday.
