A few weeks back, there was talk of Kate Upton posing for Playboy. Kate said she’s not ready to sign on yet, but she might be up for it in the near future.
Well, apparently she’s had a change of heart, because Justin Verlander’s girlfriend now says she’ll never strip down because Internet pervs like you and me would ruin it.
“Your body is beautiful,” says Kate in a recent interview. “And to be photographed in that way is amazing and it’s received in a very positive way.”
“But with social media and the Internet and not so great blogs and the attention like that, I don’t think that my pictures would be received in the way I’d want them to be received.”
“That’s why I’ve stayed away from them. I think social media and the Internet has prevented me from putting myself out there like that.”
This whole thing makes us think there must be something weird about Kate’s nipples or something, because that’s literally the only part of her body we haven’t seen at this point.
Of course, it’s too early to give up hope. At 22, she’s at the top of the modeling game now, but her fame is largely web-based, and the Internet has the attention span of a gnat with ADD.
In a few years, when her fans start to move on to the next hot piece of the month, the idea of a little tasteful nudity will likely come up again as an easy way to make Kate a trending topic again.
As a bonus, we’d like to remind the blonde bombshell that nothing will put a stop to those “Kate Upton is fat” rumors like a little full frontal. Just sayin’.
