BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — One driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Friday after a head-on collision in Boise.
The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. near State Street and Plantation River Drive.
A spokesperson for the Boise Police Department says the driver of a white SUV was heading west on State when they, for unknown reasons, crossed the center divider.
The vehicle hit a grey SUV heading the opposite direction. The driver of the grey SUV was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but BPD says the injuries are not life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is unknown and the area may be closed for several hours as investigators work to reconstruct the crash.
