POST FALLS, Idaho — A northern Idaho daycare has closed its doors after an investigation by the state's Department of Health and Welfare found multiple violations.
KREM-TV reports that state inspectors reported earlier this year that Here We Grow daycare, based in Post Falls, left 22 children alone in several rooms. In a separate investigation, a one-year-old was able to leave the daycare through a security gate and made it to the parking lot before a staff member noticed.
In a follow up investigation, an employee under the age of 18 took a child from one building to another also unsupervised.
The owner of the daycare did not return requests for comment.
