Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford confirmed that he is officially back with childhood girlfriend Lucia Loi after he shared cute loved-up pictures on his Instagram account. The 24 year-old had reportedly parted ways with her in February last year after spending almost eight years together.
The couple were said to part ways after eight long years due to the ‘lockdown pressures’ and the restrictions however things are looking much better now for the Manchester United ace. Many reports suggest that the pair felt that the time away gave both of them to ‘breath and focus on themselves’ before having reconnecting just before Christmas. The break was good for their relationship as it offered them both space and assurance that they wanted to make this work moving forward.
However the two have been together since their school days so this split up has definitely helped both them on individual growth. Reports also suggested that Lucia Loi is one of the closest person to Marcus Rashford and understands him well. Even after the split up there was ‘hope’ that the childhood sweethearts would ‘reconcile’ in the future. Marcus and Lucia mat at Ashton on Mersey school in Greater Manchester.
Lucia has been seen supporting Marcus at football games over the years, she was seen donning a Three Lions shirt with Rashford printed the back during England’s victorious game against Sweden in the quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
