On the go-home episode of Raw before Elimination Chamber 2024, Raquel Rodriguez made her return to book a ticket for Perth. Rodriguez was seen as an entrant in the last-chance qualifying Battle Royal for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. This marked her return to the wrestling ring after two months since she was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Raquel recently took to X to post a video about her journey through the infection that took over most of her neck and face.
The video showed clips recorded by her during those months when she suffered from the syndrome. Week after week, it was increasing and it went from her neck to her face. The unbearable pain was visible on her face and she showed herself fighting with it. The syndrome put Rodriguez in a condition in which she had all the allergic symptoms, such as swelling and breathing problems.
The post saw her emphasize that the journey has not ended yet and is far from getting over. Rodriguez stated that even though she has received answers for the cause of this allergy, it needs to be controlled. The only part that is known is that she feels blessed to have support from family, friends, and even fans.

Raquel’s last televised match before her return happened at Crown Jewel 2024. Going against four other women, Rodriguez was in line to dethrone Rhea Ripley for the World Women’s Championship. That loss was followed by a Battle Royale in the next week’s episode of Raw, which later took her away from weekly shows. A few more matches on WWE’s house shows sustained her till December.

This Saturday, Optus Stadium will host a WWE show (Elimination Chamber) for the first time. The traditional Women’s Chamber match has six stars who would battle it out for a chance to challenge Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40.
The current betting odds see Becky Lynch as the sure-shot winner with a huge margin over Bianca Belair. The EST of WWE is followed by Raquel Rodriguez, who recently entered into the mix toward the Road to WrestleMania. Rodriguez came out of her treatment and made her return in the ‘Last Chance’ qualifying Battle Royal.
The next contestant in line is Liv Morgan, who is closer to the previous name and might benefit from her due to being her former tag team partner. Later comes Naomi, whose chances are way too slim as she recently made her return at Royal Rumble 2024. The last name is Tiffany Stratton, who has been brought down to the main roster at pretty much the right time.
