Ricky Starks has impressed the wrestling world and seems destined to be a superstar. His work, both as a face and heel in AEW, has been nothing short of phenomenal. There have been several rumors that he is on his way to WWE and that he would be a perfect fit there. One of his closest friends, Jade Cargill, recently commented about these rumors and his coming to work in the same company as her.
During an interview with Stephanie Chase, Jade Cargill talked about her relationship with Starks. She revealed that the two of them were incredibly close friends and even trained together. This friendship likely developed during their time together in AEW. While talking about him joining WWE, she claimed that she wanted whatever the 34-year-old thought was best for his career. She added that he is still happy where he currently is.
Cargill and Starks both worked for AEW at the same time. They even joined the company within a very close time frame of each other. The 2023 Owen Hart Cup winner made his AEW TV debut in June of 2020. The Storm joined him shortly thereafter, making her debut just four months later. The two superstars likely had plenty of interactions during their shared time in the company until the 32-year-old left the company in mid-2023.

Amid his absence, many fans speculated that he may have an undisclosed injury. However, the 34-year-old denied this rumor on social media. Furthermore, there were rumors that he was denying creative pitches presented to him by AEW, and he simply did not have anything to do.
Regardless, it seems that he is bound to join the Stamford-based promotion. He already seemed interested in WWE’s product and was even spotted in the crowd at WrestleMania XL.
Jade Cargill claims that WWE and Triple H put family first
Jade Cargill often shares updates on social media alongside her husband, Brandon Philips, and their daughter. She often reiterated how the family is one of the most important things to her. Thus, it is no secret that the SmackDown Superstar appreciates WWE allowing their wrestlers to spend as much time with their families as they can.
